The Preventive Automotive Maintenance Association (PAMA) officially kicked off iFLEX 2025 in Las Vegas with its annual President’s Reception, honoring standout leaders in the automotive service industry. Held at BrewDog Las Vegas on Friday evening, the event recognized several individuals who demonstrate excellence, innovation, and community involvement in the quick lube sector according to NOLN.
Among the honorees was Ron Morrow Jr., President of Oilex Operating LLC, who was named Operator of the Year for 2025.
“I am incredibly honored and humbled to receive this recognition from my peers,” said Morrow. “This industry has been a lifelong passion, and I’m proud to stand alongside so many leaders who continue to elevate and shape it.”
The following PAMA Award recipients were celebrated during the reception:
- Distinguished Service: Eric Frankenberger, Oil Changers
- Operator of the Year: Ron Morrow Jr., Oilex Operating LLC
- Advocate of the Year: Matt Webb, Premier Oil Change
- Vendor of the Year: Service Champ
- Up & Coming Award: Levi Wilson, Benny’s Car Wash & Oil Change
All honorees were also recognized at the PAMA Membership Breakfast held Saturday morning at the Las Vegas Convention Center during The Car Wash Show—an annual gathering for industry professionals to learn, connect, and celebrate achievements across the sector.
About Ron Morrow Jr.
Ron Morrow Jr. is the President of Oilex Operating, LLC, the largest Grease Monkey® franchisee in the U.S., with over 26 locations across Colorado, Arizona, and Texas. Earlier this year, he was also recognized as Grease Monkey®’s 2025 Franchisee of the Year.
Ron’s journey in the industry began at age 15 at one of his father’s Grease Monkey locations. After graduating from East Texas Baptist University on a baseball scholarship, Ron ventured into mortgage brokerage and then launched a successful landscaping company, which he later sold. In 2004, Ron returned to the automotive industry, growing his family’s franchise into the largest in the region before transitioning into corporate leadership with Fullspeed Automotive, Grease Monkey® franchisor and eventually founding Oilex Operating, LLC.
A leader with a deep operational foundation and strong entrepreneurial drive, Ron is known for building high-performing teams and cultivating a people-first culture rooted in doing the right thing—for customers, employees, and the community.
Outside of work, Ron enjoys fly fishing, skiing, golfing, and beekeeping. He is a devoted husband and father of two.
